Where We Are

 

Hope For Today, Inc. is ayoung church. She was formed in September 2006 by Minister Troy Young. Minister Young has long been a drum major for Christ. For many years he lead the Outreach Evangelism Ministryfor his former church, Macedonia Baptist Church of Macon, Georgia. It was at Macedonia where Minister Young preached his initial sermon, however his journey for evangelism began before he was appointed a deacon in 1989.

 

Since that time, Minister Young has been continuously working in the community towards saving souls, caring for the youth, conforting the widows, and feeding the hungry. He has the inate ability with the help of Christ to persuade and not convict sinners. By his side stands his family including; his wife, Lee Ann Young and his daughter Leitra Young Maxwell.

 

Where We're Going

 

Being a Minister of The Gospel of Jesus Christ requires an enormous amount of work. It means going to the "Nineveh" parts of the community when you would rather go to Joppa. Minister Young has concluded that where the Lord takes him he is willing to go. Lovely scenery and lovely life is always sought by man and woman alike but a famous poem by Robert Frost says:

 

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep, 
And miles to go before I sleep.
